MAX1 Bílavaktin sells a wide range of Exide batteries and also handles all general battery services. Exide batteries are long-lasting and powerful, giving you a reliable start – even in the hardest frost. Your car battery is one of the parts that must always be in working order, because few things are worse than running out of power out on the road. You can find battery prices here.
Battery life
Batteries have a limited lifespan, so their condition needs to be checked at regular intervals. In our experience, demand for batteries is highest in winter – it's common for batteries to lose their charge in frost and cold weather – but of course they can give up the ghost at other times of year too.

Exide batteries honoured by Volvo
Exide batteries are known for outstanding quality and long life. In recognition of these qualities, Exide batteries received a special award from Volvo called Volvo Cars Quality Excellence (VQE). To win the award, a manufacturer must excel in the quality of its processing systems and production processes. The manufacturer must also demonstrate ongoing development and cooperation with customers. Exide batteries meet all of these requirements.
New Carbon Boost technology from Exide
Exide has launched a new line of batteries called Exide Premium Carbon Boost. These new batteries charge twice as fast as the previous generation, thanks to a patented carbon coating on the battery's negative plate. This technology
was developed during the production and design of AGM and EFB batteries.
This new technology shortens charging time while also allowing the battery to take on more charge.
Premium Carbon Boost batteries handle all the power demands of everyday life, cope well with the repeated starts that come with short journeys, and are ideal for the weather conditions we get in Iceland, as they are specially designed to withstand swings in temperature.
With an ever wider variety of vehicles and more and more technology on board, it's important to be able to rely on a durable, powerful battery. Exide works with many of the world's leading brands and has invested heavily in production and advanced equipment. MAX1 is a proud retailer of Exide batteries.
