Hakka Ábyrgð® Nokian Tyres for 1 year
Hakka Ábyrgð® gives customers who buy new Nokian Hakkapeliitta tyres from MAX1 a matching new tyre free of charge if the original tyre is accidentally damaged – unless the tyre can be safely repaired, in which case it will not be replaced. The tyre must be brought to one of the MAX1 tyre workshops, where our staff will assess it and decide whether it should be replaced or repaired. Repair costs are not covered by Hakka Ábyrgð®. Tyres covered by Hakka Ábyrgð® are marked in the online shop. To claim a new tyre under Hakka Ábyrgð, you must show confirmation that you registered for Hakka Ábyrgð together with the invoice for the purchase.
Hakka Ábyrgð® Nokian Tyres is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and is linked to a specific car.
If a tyre that has been used correctly and fitted properly is accidentally damaged in normal use, you will get a matching new tyre free of charge.
What to do if a tyre is damaged
1. Return the damaged tyre to an authorised Nokian quality tyre dealer
The authorised Nokian quality tyre dealer will confirm that the warranty is valid by checking: (a) the original invoice proving purchase of the tyre, (b) the customer's confirmation email for registration in Hakka Ábyrgð® Nokian Tyres and (c) the other requirements (limitations) of the warranty, in particular tread depth measurements.
2. The authorised dealer provides a new tyre
The authorised dealer will give you a matching new Nokian tyre free of charge to replace the damaged one. You pay only for the labour of fitting it.
3. The authorised dealer fills in a form
The authorised dealer completes the claim form, which goes to Nokian Tyres, together with you. You keep the original and the dealer keeps a copy.
How do I register for Hakka Ábyrgð®?
Registration takes place when you buy the tyres, and staff at the MAX1 workshops can help you register. You will receive a confirmation email, which you should keep with the original invoice. You will need to show these documents if you ever need to make a claim under the warranty.
