At MAX1 we specialise in particular repairs and maintenance work. Alongside our core services, we can also take care of a range of simple car service jobs.
Other services we offer
These include:
- Treating rough running in petrol and diesel engines with approved Bell Add fuel system additives.
- Engine decarbonising.
- A basic underbody inspection.
- Removing worn studs from studded tyres so they can carry on being used as studless winter tyres.
In some newer studded tyres, including certain Nokian models, the studs are held in the rubber by special anchors. This makes the studs last longer, but it can make them very difficult or impossible to remove without risking damage to the tyre or puncturing it. We therefore need to assess each tyre before starting work.
Services MAX1 does not offer
MAX1 does not take on repairs that fall outside the range of services presented on this website.
For example, we do not carry out major repairs or scheduled manufacturer services. For work of that kind we refer customers to Vélaland, which handles general repairs and scheduled servicing for most makes of car.
MAX1 does not carry out:
- Rim repairs.
- Accident repairs, panel beating or paintwork.
- Welding on the underbody or bodywork.
- Car cleaning.
- Wheel alignment.
The size, weight and type of vehicle can affect which MAX1 site is able to take it.
