A wheel alignment measures the angles of the wheels precisely and compares them with the manufacturer’s values. These are the points that matter.

Whether the wheels point inwards or outwards relative to the direction of travel. An error here is the most common cause of rapid tyre wear.
The forward or backward tilt of the steering axis seen from the side. It affects stability at speed and how the steering returns to centre after a bend.
The direction of the rear wheels relative to the car’s centre line. If it is off, the car travels slightly crabwise and pulls to one side.

If the car does not need adjusting, the visit takes just a few minutes, so we sometimes book very tightly. If your car — or the one before it — does need adjusting, the visit can take up to 90 minutes.
