Superb grip on ice and snow
Special grip claws between the tread blocks improve grip on snow and ice, particularly when braking and accelerating. Wider grooves on the shoulders and in the centre of the tyre activate the narrower sipes and increase grip in very slippery conditions. Slush protection — triangular slush grooves — pushes slush and water away and prevents the vehicle from aquaplaning on wet roads.
A studless tyre with excellent durability
The secret lies in the rubber compound. Eco-friendly hard-grain crystals have been added to it, and they work like studs. This addition significantly shortens braking distances on icy roads compared with its predecessor, even at high speeds.
The tyre performs exceptionally well on snow, on ice and on wet surfaces, and is long-lasting. Aramid sidewall reinforcement increases the tyre's durability and protects it in unexpected situations. The sidewalls are made from an exceptionally durable compound containing extremely strong aramid fibres, so they can better withstand external stresses — such as potholes on city streets.
